    Leonard, Emily (Fragua) and Darrick Tsosie are a family of Native American potters from the Pueblo of Jemez located in New Mexico. Emily and Leonard began learning and making pottery and figurines as children while they sat alongside their respective parents. Together they began teaching the long lived traditional art to their son, Darrick.

    They specialize in natural hand-coiled traditional storytellers, cat and dog storytellers, horses, as well as, other animal figurines. They gather and use the natural clays and paints from the surrounding area of the Jemez Pueblo reservation making their entire pottery making process completely natural.

    Leonard, Emily and Darrick are award-winning artists who have won ribbons from prestigious Santa Fe Indian Market, and other juried art shows. They participate in various Indian Markets, such as, as the Autry Museum Indian Marketplace, Red Earth Indian Festival, Pueblo Grande Indian Art Market and Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian Art Market. Their work and family history are published in Southern Pueblo Pottery 2,000 Biographies, Storytellers and other Figurative Pottery, and Pueblo Family Pottery.
