    Pat Bedonie

Pat Bedonie, a Navajo silversmith, was born in Ganado, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. She is of the Edge Water and Coyote Pass Clans.  Pat’s Mother, Lutricia Yellowhair, was an accomplished silversmith who passed the traditional Navajo jewelry making styles on to her children. Today, Pat lives in Famington, New Mexico and often collaborates with her mother and brother, Ron Bedonie, to create an array of stunning jewelry.  She uses a variety of symbols important in her Navajo heritage and specializes in the sunburst design, crafted in 14kt gold over sterling silver.  Her son, Shawn Bedonie, is also an accomplished silversmith.
