Albert Haskie

Albert Haskie is the son of renowned Navajo inlay artist, Vernon Haskie. Born in 2001, Albert first started learning how to make jewelry from his father at the young age of eight years old. 

In addition to his beautiful jewelry-making, Albert is also a software developer. He has created an app called Adoone’é, a Navajo Clan App that focuses on preserving the Navajo language and culture through technology. “It is my deep-rooted belief that everyone should have access to the resources that preserve and celebrate their Navajo/Diné heritage. I find great joy in tackling the Navajo/Diné Language and Culture Preservation in the 21st century,” he says.

Albert uses his software skills to print the designs for his jewelry before creating his unique pieces. His specialty is silver overlay that features inlay of vibrant stones. Albert is a talented and innovative young artist with a bright future ahead! We are delighted to carry his work.
