Cripple Creek

The Cripple Creek Turquoise Mine is located in Teller County, Colorado. It is one of the few quality Turquoise Mines located in Colorado. Cripple Creek was originally found as a bi-product of gold mining. Some of the earlier examples of the stone reportedly had gold matrix. Cripple Creek typically comes in green tones with hints of blue and with light brown matrix.
