Jessica Lovato

Jessica Lovato is a Santo Domingo (Kewa) jeweler. Artistry runs in her blood; she comes from a family of potters. As a young girl, she moved from the Santo Domingo Pueblo to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from del Norte High School and then she attended Central New Mexico Community College.

She first met her boyfriend, Andrew Lovato (son of acclaimed jeweler, Ray Lovato) at a celebration at the Santo Domingo Pueblo. She soon began to enjoy the art of jewelry making with Andrew, and she helps him craft beautiful jewelry as well as makes her own pieces. She is doing wonderful work. In addition to jewelry making, Jessica is the “Head Start” bus driver for the children of Santo Domingo.
