Matilda Bia

Matilda Bia is a member of the Della Woody family. Della Woody was very famous for her finely Yei-be-chai weavings. She also wove miniatures and taught her daughters who then taught their daughters. Matilda weaves the finest miniature rugs that we see from any contemporary weaver. Her designs are very crisp with great color selections and very fine thread. She uses needle fine thread in her miniatures. Due to the thread size and thread count, her miniatures can take as long to weave as a much larger weavings with regular yarn.
