Rings

The Spanish first introduced metal finger rings to Southwest Native Americans. By the 1860s, the Navajo (Diné) were making their own rings with stamped designs and silver appliqué balls in clusters or rows. Soon after, the Navajo learned how to make silver bezels to hold stones and the creation of iconic turquoise rings began.

We measure rings with the standard U.S. ring sizing system, which measures the inside of a ring using a numeric scale based on quarter, half, and full units. Like bracelets, the wider the width of the ring, the larger size you will need for the ring to fit comfortably. Learn more about sizing here.
