Delayne Reeves is the son of acclaimed silversmith, Sunshine Reeves and Michele Laughing Reeves, a very talented weaver. He was born May 25, 1990. His lineage include the Salt People, Mexican Navajo, Black Streak, and Many Houses Clan.

Delayne learned silversmithing by watching his Uncle, Gary Reeves, at his shop in Albuquerque. Harry Morgan also worked in that shop. At seven years old Delayne entered a dime belt (small concha belt), at the 1997 Santa Fe Indian Market. He won Blue Ribbon in the Youth division. His career got off to a fast start.

From 2012 to 2017 he served our country in the US Marine Corps. He is now back at his home north of Gallup, New Mexico and resuming his career as a great stamp silversmith like his famous father Sunshine Reeves.
