Daniel Coriz was born in 1964 and resides in the pueblo of Santo Domingo. He credits his mother, Nestoria Coriz and his grandfather, Lupe Pena for helping him get started and teaching him the basics of silversmith and jewelry making. Daniel has perfected his skills and has been crafting fine heishi and inlay jewelry for over fifteen years. He has been featured in the New Mexico magazine and is on constant display at the Smithsonian Institute. He is widely acclaimed for his work and the demand for his unique style continues to grow.
Awards: 1st Place at Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonials.
