Betty Ann Nez is from Bird Springs, Arizona in the southern portion of the Navajo Reservation. Bett Ann's late husband, Junior Nez, was a veteran of the Korean War. Junior would construct the looms and Betty Ann would do the weaving. Junior recently passed away and Betty Ann is now focusing on smaller weavings only.
Betty Ann’s weavings are known for their tight weave and straight clean lines. She specializes in Storm Pattern, Ganado, J. B. Moore Revival, and Two Grey Hills designs.
